As they say, Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Have you ever wondered why??
When you start with a nutritious breakfast, you’re refueling your body and brain, kick-starting your metabolism and getting the energy you need to embrace the morning.
I ALWAYS make time fore Breakfast in the morning. Even a bowl of cereal can be nutritious and more importantly to your kids: FAST. It only takes a few moments to start your day off right.
So with that being said here are a few great tips from The Doctors Travis Stork:

Dr. Travis Stork’s Tips on Having a Successful Big Day
- Lay out your clothes the night before to help streamline your morning routine.
- Create a “must achieve” list for the morning to help yourself stop stressing about those tasks at night, leading to a more restful night’s sleep.
- Plan out what to have for breakfast, and nothing is easier than setting out a bowl and spoon for a quick, nutritious and tasty bowl of cereal in the morning.
- If you’re travelling or on-the-go, making sure to pack a nutritious snack (like a baggie of cereal) in your bag to help you avoid hitting the mid-morning lull and picking something unhealthy.

When you prepare the night before a big day, you set yourself up to have a better tomorrow. We get school clothes ready, papers signed, etc. If I’m traveling for work I always try to pack my suitcase the night before so I don’t forget as much. That being said we all perform better after breakfast. It’s important to start any day with a nutritious breakfast full of protein and grains, like Kellogg’s Frosted Mini Wheats, Special K or Raisin Bran cereal and milk.

Breakfast is SO important! I have found that the kids do SO much better at their homeschool assignments after a filling breakfast than on those mornings that we don’t try to fit in a good breakfast. I have been letting the boys make themselves a bowl of cereal in the morning so they don’t have to wait for me, and they always plop some fresh fruit in their bowl too. My favorite time for cereal though, is for a midnight snack. That might be because I am pregnant though

I love cereal for breakfast or anytime for that matter. I grew up on Kellogs and still feed it to my kids today. Great post, but I have to go get a bowl.
