14 Classics to Share with Your Kids on Netflix
What’s better than having a family night where you show the kiddos some of YOUR favorite shows and movies from the past. I love doing this so they can relate to how I grew up. Netflix put out this list of 14 Classics to Share with the Kiddos:
For your big kids:
1. Saved by the Bell
2. The Baby-Sitters Club
3. Family Ties
4. Jem and the Holograms
5. The Hardy Boys Nancy Drew Mysteries
6. Spiderman and His Amazing Friends
7. Transformers
When I was little I LOVE both JEM and Saved By The Bell so I showed them to the kiddos. Isablle thought Jem was “ok, but kinda weird”, but they both LOVED Saved By The Bell. My son even called it “retro”. Hard to believe my faves are now considered “retro”.
And your little ones:
1. The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
2. The Care Bears Movie
3. The Smurfs and the Magic Flute
4. Strawberry Shortcake
5. Curious George
6. Sesame Street
7. Dumbo
We’ve always been Disney Movie fans so they have seen all the classics. I also loved showing them my version of the Smurfs since they had seen the newer movies. All in all, we had a great weekend of going back to the classics.
