The May 25, 1977 theatrical debut of Star Wars –- on a scant 32 screens across America — was destined to change the face of cinema forever. An instant classic and an unparalleled box office success, the rousing “space opera” was equal parts fairy tale, western, 1930s serial and special effects extravaganza, with roots in […]

Disney’s “Muppets Most Wanted” takes the entire Muppets gang on a global tour, selling out grand theaters in some of Europe’s most exciting destinations, including Berlin, Madrid, Dublin and London. Usually, when a movie is based on a book I always read it beforehand. This time however I did not get a chance and I think I enjoyed it more than if I knew what was coming. 100 Foot Journey is just that….A journey of young man Hassan Dayal (Manish Dayal) and his family. A […]
I’m a HUGE fan of the MARVEL franchise and what I like most is that they keep surprising me. Each movie is unique in it’s own way and fights to it’s place within the MARVEL universe. When I first heard about Guardians of the Galaxy…..Let’s just say I wasn’t quite sure what to think. Some […]

When the first How To Train Your Dragon came out I remember how OBSESSED Gabriel was with this movie. So were my nephews, BUT the girls still liked it too. It was just nice to have a rough and tumble action animation for the boys. The sequesl is out in just a couple of weeks […]
Sam Riley as Diaval in Maleficent knocked my socks off. The way they visualized the raven into a character especially one that has such a heart was awesome. I love to meet soft spoken actors. Sam Riley walked into a room of 25 bloggers and was a bit intimidated, but he took it all in […]
Maleficent is an origin story at it’s finest. We always see the “villain” in mostly a one dimensional arc. They are cursing people, taking away love, life, and laughter, etc. This reminds me a bit of the newest Oz film by Disney, in that it shows you why a villain like Maleficent becomes the “bad […]
