I attended the National Press Introduction for the All New 2015 Sedona and the Soul EV. As you can tell by the majority of car reviews on my site I’m a Kia girl. What I enjoyed about attending this event was they want to hear from everyone. They want the men and women with years of experience, they want the ones who are auto obsessed, and they also want the consumers opinion as well. The entire group was welcoming and I had the best time!

We arrived at the gorgeous St. Regis Monarch Beach, a Forbes Five-Star & AAA Five-Diamond resort, which allows for a truly luxurious experience. I stood in awe of the architecture. I could have stood around taking pictures all day. To say I slept like a queen is an understatement. If you are ever in the Dana Point area be sure to check this hotel out!

Once we were settled it was time to head down and truly experience what California Dreamin’ meant. Someone was making caricatures while the band played through a GORGEOUS sunset. We played cornhole, ate from famous food trucks, then cuddled up on the sofas with a blanket and watched the film Chef. I grubbed down on some tacos from the Famous Kogi Korean BBQ truck! As a southern girl from Tennesse this was using my senses in an entire different way. Is it crazy that I felt almost like I was at home? Who wouldn’t? Good food, good people, and a movie to cap the night.

The next day was all about learning and our drive experience with both the All New 2015 Sedona and the Soul EV which I will tell you more about tomorrow. Here are a few more photos so you can get the overall feel of this press trip.
