Stay in Style at CLC Encantada Kissimmee Florida

One of our favorite destinations is Kissimmee Florida. We love to stay in a good vacation home when we go because it’s just so much easier on both us and the kiddos. This time we decided to mix it up a little and try somewhere new. CLC Encantada Resort has everything to make your vacation perfect: affordable prices, style, great amenities, convenient location and more. Which put together makes CLC Encantada the ideal Florida home away from home for your family vacation. Encantada – Spanish for ‘enchanted’ – is one of two CLC World resorts in America’s theme park capital.

As you pull up to the resort you will be instantly captivated and made to feel welcome at your every turn. Even though we arrived in the middle of the night the staff had everything ready for us so I didn’t have to spend long getting everything set up with the family waiting for me in the car. I had a few questions and the desk clerk immediately grabbed some materials for me.

We stayed in the 3 bedroom town home which had PLENTY of room for our family of 4. When you first walk in you notice 2 things. How spacious it is and how very stylish it is. I love a clean look that isn’t cluttered and this town home had that feel. PLUS, it had everything we could need in a vacation home. Including:

Room facilities: air conditioning, alarm clock, car parking, CD player, DVD player, hairdryer, heating, iron & board, music centre/stereo, patio with Jacuzzi, safe, TV LCD 50” and TV LCD 30” satellite TV, telephone, Wi-Fi (with charge).

It’s the little things we forget we need while on vacation and that’s why I enjoy staying at a Vacation Home. For example: wi-fi. Being a blogger AND having both a teen and tween (not to mention a tech savvy husband) wi-fi has gone from being an extra to a neccsasity. I didn’t have any problems with the connection while we were there. Even when all 4 of us were using multiple devices. The kids loved the big screen tvs since we had brought a couple of dvds from home to have a family movie night. Again, I want to stress how stylish this place was. I could sit on the couch and not stare at my daily clutter at home and just relax.

KITCHEN: coffee machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, hob: 4 rings, microwave, oven, washing machine/dryer

The kitchen had everything the husband needed to make us an amazing breakfast one morning before we hit the parks. PLUS, on the last day I was able to do all of our laundry so I could go home and not have to worry about it. Which as a busy mom I like saving time any way I can.

Bedroom 1: 1 king-size bed
Bedroom 2: 2 twin-size beds
Bedroom 2: 1 queen-size bed
Living room: 1 pull-out sofa bed

The beds were super comfy. In fact one morning I begged to sleep late while they went and hit the parks. It was nice being able to relax in a comfy bed with no worries.

I can’t forget to add the patio with Jacuzzi. It was just the right size for us to hop in after a long day and spend some quality family time. (Yes, I may have snuck in a time or two when the kids were in bed as well shhh!)

The Resort

CLC Encantada resort facilities include a heated zero entry swimming pool, a swimming pool with a Jacuzzi, a children’s play area and a private lake surrounded by a walking/jogging trail. The resort’s Clubhouse facility includes a Reception, a bar with a pool table, a cyber café, a games arcade and a well-equipped gym.

Free guest services include car parking, Wi-Fi in the Clubhouse and the “Team Marina” kids’ club, which will keep children from four years old happily entertained while adults relax and enjoy their leisure time.

Reception and the Clubhouse have 24 hour coverage, 7 days a week. PlayStation, X-Box, Wii and games, cot, highchair and GPS can all be rented, and international calling cards can be purchased: please contact the resort for more information and prices. A hire car is recommended to fully enjoy your holiday in the area.

During reception hours, a complimentary porter service is available between your accommodation and the Clubhouse. Taxis and/or a shuttle bus covering the major theme parks can be booked from the Clubhouse. Romy’s Lounge is the on-resort, licensed café bar, which is open daily from 10am – 10pm and serves beers, wines, soft drinks and light snack items.

The kids and I spent an entire afternoon at the resort. First we went to the game room where Gabe shamed us all in some ping pong. Then we took advantage of the HUGE pool outside.

Disney: 5.5 miles/9 km; International Drive: 15.5 miles/25 km; Universal Studios: 18.65 miles/30 km; Wet ‘n’ Wild: 17.07 miles/30 km; Sea World: 14 miles/22 km; Prime Outlets: 19.08 miles/28 km; Falcons Fire Golf Course: 9.3 miles/15 km; Orange County National Golf Course: 9.6 miles/15 km. Also within a 5-minute drive of the resort there are some large supermarkets, including a Walmart, and a selection of family-friendly restaurants such as Bruno’s Italian, Pizza Hut, McDonalds and Taco Bell.
