Ever since I started in this wonderful world of blogging I’ve been traveling a lot more and realized how much I love it. My family and I usually travel to Disney at least once or twice a year so we all have a bit of the travel bug. Now I’m trying to expand out horizons. Here’s the Top 5 places I want to travel to this year that’s feasible:

1. Venice Beach
When I first went to Cali about 12 years ago we went to Venice Beach, but didn’t have time to really look. I want to go back and take pictures of all the interesting people and to just be up and close to the ocean. I travel to LA quite a bit, but never get the opportunity to go down to the Beach.

2. A Cruise
I’m dying to go on a cruise! I used to be nervous about it, but now I just want the experience. I’m trying to talk the husband that this should be a family trip. Our kids are getting bigger and I want them to experience how beautiful the world could be.

3. Washington D.C.
Our nations capitol. I want this to be a family trip as well. I want to see the monuments, the white house, and just be in such a historical place taking it all in. I think this is something everyone should do at one point.

4. Arizona
I’m working on a trip for a few bloggers to go and experience Arizona. From the pictures I’ve seen it’s a beautiful place and something different from the usual hubbub of the city.

5. New Fantasyland at Disney World
I know, I know. We got to Disney a lot, but I can’t wait to check out New Fantasyland. Belle, The Beast, Ariel, and more are begging me to come sooner rather than later.

So where do you want to go this year? Make your own list and leave a link so I can come check it out!

I’ve been to 1-4 and they are all list-worthy! It’s been years since I’ve been to Disney World, and I have no clue about Fantasyland so I’ll have to do some research and find out more about it. Pretty lame of me since we live in Florida! LOL

Right now, I am looking forward to our summer at Glacier National Park. That is my first “can’t wait” destination. It seems like all those states in between us and Montana are just teasers. lol

If you do a cruise, the one I’ve heard is the BEST by far is up to Alaska. That’s coming from friends who’ve cruised all over the world.

I used to live in Maryland and we would go to DC all the time when I was kid. Truth is, I think I just always thought it would be a metro ride away and never really appreciated all it had to offer. Now that I have my own kids and live in Texas I regret that my kids won’t be able to just jump on the Metro to see the sights! Great post, by the way!

Since I have lived in hot Florida my whole life, I want to go somewhere with lots of snow (I am 47 and still have not seen snow!) somewhere like Aspen or Breckinridge, Colorado. Number 2 would be New York City, number 3 would be Las Vegas, (I would love to see Cirque de Soleil, they are awesome.) Since I am dreaming here and the sky is the limit, number 4 would be to go to Europe, especially Paris, Italy, Spain & London. Finally number 5 would be to spend 2 weeks at an Oceanfront beachhouse on our local beach, St. Augustine, Florida. I guess I am a Florida girl at heart because I would live at the beach if I could. Here’s wishing you get to go everywhere you hoped for. :)

Let me know if there’s room on that Arizona trip! I’d love to go, my mom just moved to Scottsdale and I can’t wait to get out there!

We’re hoping to get to Las Vegas and the Caribbean this year, and something tells me we’ll end up taking a quick trip to Florida, too.

A cruise is so much fun. We went without our kids and regretted it. At every turn we were saying, “Wouldn’t the kids enjoy this?”
