Remember last week when I showed you the awesome recipe for Chicken Crescent Rolls I found over at Tasty Kitchen? Well we invited my niece over and had a fun cooking party while we were making them. When these kids get together it can get silly, but that;s what makes it fun. Check out our pictures below:

The final product

As you can see we had a great time baking this and since we used mostly #GreatValue products we saved money while doing it! If your Walmart doesn’t carry Great Value, you can also visit ANY local grocery store (except for Aldi), and buy the generic store brand crescent rolls, biscuits and pie crusts. The company that makes Great Value at Walmart also makes all of the generic store brands. The final result was delish! Next time we are going to double what the recipe calls for so everyone can have more than 1. Once again the recipe is below:

Ingredients:
2 whole Chicken Breasts
1 can (8 Oz. Can) Great Value Crescent Rolls
1 cup Shredded Colby Monterey Jack Cheese
3 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Softened
¼ cups Diced White Onion
2 Tablespoons Milk
3 Tablespoons Butter
¼ teaspoons Seasoned Salt
Pepper To Taste
Paprika

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Cook the chicken, either by baking or boiling it, and cut it into cubes.
  3. Combine the cream cheese, onion, milk, 1 tablespoon of butter, and seasoned salt and mix well. Add the chicken and shredded cheese and mix until chicken is well coated. Add pepper to taste.
  4. Prepare the crescent rolls to make four squares. Fill each square with the chicken-cheese mixture. Bring all four corners together over chicken-cheese mixture and pinch until closed.
  5. Melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and spread over the crescents rolls. Sprinkle with paprika.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
