On of my favorite meals to make…and eat is a cheesy, hearty, italian dish. There is something so comforting in a big bowl of pasta! And honestly, It was one of the first things I learned to cook without messing up as a teenager who had just moved out on my own. You can sit any old world italian grandma down and she will tell you “less is always more” and to “cook from your heart”. Im going to share a zesty pasta dish with you that your family is sure to rave over. And you will be raving when you find that you can feed your entire family for under $15.00.
YOU WILL NEED:
1 pound penne pasta
1 jar Ragu Old World Style Pasta Sauce of your choice
4 ounces pepperoni, sliced or cubed
1 pound mozzerella cheese, cubed or shredded
1/4 cup basil
salt
pepper
LETS GET STARTED:
Bring water to a boil and add penne pasta. In a medium sauce pan warm your pasta sauce. While those are on the stove cut up the mozzarella and pepperoni. Drain water from penne and toss them and all ingredients into a large serving bowl. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve with a nice fresh bread from your local bakery and a side of olive oil and cracked black pepper for dipping. Yum!!

Yummy, that looks delicious!
Don’t lie though, Big Daddy made that, didn’t he? LOL
