The Purina Cat Chow Real Stories Project is a nationwide search to find, showcase and celebrate cat stories that highlight the special relationships between cat people and their cats, as well as the many ways our cats are always there for us.
From now until July 31, Purina Cat Chow is asking you to share your story at YourCatStory.com for an opportunity to be one of five grand prize winners who will each receive a $5,000 cash prize, a one year supply of Purina® Cat Chow® brand cat food for one cat, and have their cat relationship story told through a Purina Cat Chow brand online video.
Our Cat Story involves Bruiser. The Family cat. Bruiser started out as the smaller of 2 cats. He was the runt so we had to give a *tough* name to help him out. Thus Bruiser was named. He also started out as my sons cat…..that changed quickly. As Bruiser grew and grew and grew he quickly was bypassing our other cat Hi-O. Within a couple of years he was HUGE. Through that time he also started spending more time with Isabella to the point where he follows her around the house 24/7. If she’s not here he takes to following me. He even lets her put baby doll clothes and princess tiaras on him for a little while.
This other little thing he does is funny yet soooo annoying. He can open any door. Somehow. Someway. He will figure out how to open it. If I’m locked up in my office blogging he starts by *knocking* on the door. He scratches away for a few minutes and if I don’t get up and let him in a small paw shoots under the door and he opens the door. Adorable, Cute, Annoying, and protective of his family. That’s our cat. Bruiser.
