If your caught up on the books so far then let me say that Lover Unleashed does not disappoint. Even though this is a Payne centered book there is a lot of Vishous, Doc Jane, Butch, Blay, and Quinn to go around. Throughout some part you will be so pissed at Vishous you can’t even see the words on the page, but I promise you he “gets with the program” as the Brothers would say. I was glad this book showed that Payne does have a softer side. The Payne in my mind is even more beautiful now. Bringing back Manny Manello was spot on and boy oh boy is their a twist in this book that will throw you a loop. Their is also a new character who really has been behind the scenes all along and he brings trouble with him to the streets of Caldwell. All in all it was just the book I needed to give me my vampire fix.
