When I first heard that they were adapting The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo for the American audience I was skeptic. The books were AWESOME! I talked about my love for them in a previous Book Of The Day post. I’ve seen the Swedish movies with Noomi Rapace and she simply was Lisbeth Salander. Then I heard David Fincher was directing so I thought *maybe* just *maybe* they would get it right. THEN W magazine released these pics of Rooney Mara from the set and I’m actually excited about seeing this adaption! If you’ve read the books or seen the movies what do you think of Rooney Mara’s transformation?

I’ve never really made my mind up about these books, I’ve always wondered if I do start reading would I be able to stop or will I be able to figure them out before I lose interest. I think I’ll wait and watch the film and if that is any good I might just read the rest
