Living in the South I know a good Pie when I taste one. So when Mom Central sent me 4 coupons to try out Banquet’s New microwaveable Fruit Pies I was skeptic, but I’ve always been a fan of Banquet Meals and since Banquet has provided families with delicious meals for more than 50 years, a shopping I went. I found them in the freezer section of my local WalMart and they are around $1 a piece so a great value. I got one of the Cherry Berry, one Peach, and two Apple Pies. Out of all 3 flavors the Apple was the best. The apples themselves had a yummy sweet, but not overwhelming flavor and the crust had the perfect amount of flakiness. Each Banquet fruit pie has a half serving of real fruit inside a flaky pastry shell that bakes fresh and hot from your oven or microwave in minutes.

Want to try out the new Fruit Pies yourself?! From August 26-28, before the Labor Day holiday, 650 select Wal-Marts nationwide are offering in-store demonstrations with free samples of the pies topped with Reddi-wip! To find out if your local Wal-Mart is having a demo, please check with the store manager.
