As you know I’m a reader and a picky reader at that. When I’m not reading about Vampires or the latest Stephen King novel, I enjoy reading about true life stories. Mostly how people overcome adversity or personal demons. I recently read and have the opportunity to share with you, my readers a book that is inspiring. The Bag Lady Papers: The Priceless Experience of Losing It All tells the truth life story of Alexandra Penney and how she went from having it all to being completely broke both in reality and mentally.

Penney is a wonderful writer with a great sense of humor in a time when everything feels like it’s crashing down.
