On Christmas Eve after we get back from the candlelight service, we gather around the tree with a plate of cookies and mugs of hot cocoa (or in my case - chocolate milk!)
My husband reads the Christmas story from the Bible. Then we exchange ornaments. Every year we all get a new ornament that represents something that happened during the year.

After the kids get their baths & in their jammies, we wait for Santa to come around on the firetruck & they run out to see him, if they were good & he is gonna come to bring them presents - he hands them a candycane (hope he always has candycanes or my kids would be devastated)...after he leaves we sprinkle reigndeer food in the front yard & then off to bed with visions of sugarplums :)
