My favorite tip is to lightly apply a dark wine or plum lipstick and to dab & blot with a Q-Tip to make it look like a lip stain. (Hate how lip stains get so dry, this is a great idea!)
What a cool idea, mixing your lipstick with some vaseline, put it in a little container & you double the life of you lip color & moisturize your lips at the same time!
I found out I have to stop taking long showers

If you run out of shaving cream you can use conditioner.
The idea about the toweletts in the refrigerator. Great for your face- clean and cool.
I learned that if I run out of shaving cream, I can use conditioner, instead. Very useful!
I like the one about mixing your lipstick with Vaseline. I've always done that with the "dregs" that are hard to get to in the base of a lipstick! I must have been ahead of the curve (or just thrifty!).

You can make your own lip gloss by combining the leftover lipstick in the bottom of a tube with Vaseline.

beauty tip--I use Q-tips to wipe away mascara when I accidentally get some on my eye lids. This works so much better than trying to use my finger and making it worse

I must say that I love the idea of taking your old lipstick and mixing it with petroleum jelly to make lip gloss. I'm not a big lipstick girl, even though I have quite a bit from gift bags. I love lip gloss though! This is one idea that I actually plan to do...as soon as I can find my Vaseline in my messy linen closet. :)

I had a facial at a very upscale spa in the Fairmont Hotel. Their esthetician uses Ivory soap first to wash your face, and then applies her magic potions.
Ever since then, I have used Ivory soap for washing, but being sure to use a good moisturizer after.
