Why You Should Sponsor Me for a Conference

Monday, October 26, 2009 1 Post-It Notes

Has your company thought about sponsoring a Mom blogger for Blissdom '10? What is Blissdom? It is conference "Following Your Bliss means dreaming impossible dreams – and then making them possible through creativity, passion and direction.  Blissdom 2010 is your space to make this happen." Blissdom '10 will be in Nashville, TN at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel on Feb. 4th-6th. I will be in contact with over 1000+ other bloggers over the weekend. If you had some promotional items such as business cards, coupons with a small discount, pens, note cards, bags, etc I would give them out to the other bloggers I would come in contact with. In short I would be a walking, talking, blogging, picture and video, social media billboard. What I as well as a few other Mom Bloggers try to offer is a face and a smile to go along with the brand that would be sponsoring us. A way to identify and get that connection. Plus it's way for me as a blogger to learn more about my craft and to become better at it. That's why I look at it as a win/win situation between the brand who is sponsoring me and my coverage. Right now for Blissdom I am looking for sponsors to cover my ticket/hotel costs. Since I live 30 minutes away from Nashville there would be no transportation costs. Those sponsors would have Platinum status.

  • They would have above the fold advertising for 1 year with 1 post a month for 6 months advertising your company. Everyone I meet I would talk about your brand and give them information.
  • I will be live twittering and facebooking during this event as well.
  • Most of all I would give a Southern Smile and Personality to your brand.
Here is information on the conference itself along with the hotel:
The conference ticket, and hotel would be a total of $624. I would cover all personal expenses. *whew* That was a mouthful.  Thanks again for your time and consideration.
